Dayanithi Azhagiri’s ‘Tamizh Padam’ is a spoof on Vijay

Well, with the first promotions across the newspapers – IDHU ORU VIDHYASAMANA TAMIZH PADAM ALLA had indeed made us expect a lot from this film. And now, it has been revealed by closer sources that ‘Tamizh Padam’ is a Hollywood-fangled scary movie where the prominent actors of Tamil cinema will be spoofed upon.

If what we believed from the sources are true, then the actors in this film haven’t stopped.

Scary Movie type – the film is about playing comedy tracks on all the leading actors of Superstar Rajnikanth, Kamal Haasan, Ajith Kumar, Surya and others. But much particularly, Vijay has been imitated all throughout 80% of the film.

It’s almost like a ‘Lollu Sabha’ on silver screens and it has been done so professionally.

The biggest news is that the film will be released on Dec 18 along with Vijay’s ‘Vettaikaran’.

Kamal hassan wants to remake Salangai Oli

He may be 55, but age has not waned his desire to give his all to cinema. Kamal Haasan, who completed 50 years in cinema, said in a recent interview that it was his desire to act in the remake of his super hit film Silangai Oli. Made in Telugu as Sagar Sangamam, the movie directed by K. Viswananth and starring Jayapradha was a huge hit. The classical dance theme of the movie and Kamal’s portrayal (as a dancer who sacrifices his life for the art) won him accolades. The movie, when dubbed in Tamil as Silangai Oli, repeated the same success as in Telugu.

Talking about the film, Kamal said that if any director wished to remake the film, he was ready to essay the same role once again. He said that he may be 55, but he is still ready to do a film like that.

We have no doubts that he would still sizzle as a dancer at 55, as he did decades ago.
